Iman Abi Saab

Iman is an award-winning and active Fellow member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, with more than two decades of engineering consultancy experience. Since joining Mott MacDonald in 2012, Iman has excelled in roles as project manager, design manager, and project director, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, multi-sector projects across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

A champion of digital innovation strategies, Iman leverages advanced tools and cutting-edge construction technologies to overcome challenges, optimise efficiency, and deliver value-driven outcomes for clients. Her commitment to sustainable, low-carbon solutions ensures projects that achieve better social and environmental results.

Her impactful contributions include iconic projects comprising primary infrastructure, future air mobility, residential communities, landmark retail, hospitality, healthcare, and entertainment venues. In addition, she directed the structural integrity program for over 1,000 buildings across Asia.

Through her expertise in structural design, integrated digital delivery, and sustainable innovation, Iman continues to shape the future of engineering and inspire the next generation of professionals. As Mott MacDonald’s Regional Technical Excellence Leader, Iman fosters a culture of continuous improvement, driving technical excellence, connected thinking, and collaboration with professional institutions, government entities, and educational bodies. Iman’s leadership extends beyond her organisation as she serves as the Regional Chair of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
